Larry Dean Honeycutt, age 77, a resident of Middlesboro, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on October 25, 2025.
He was born May 30, 1948 in Fork Ridge, the son of the late Herbert and Hazel Evans Honeycutt.
Larry proudly served the United States Army and was a veteran of the Vietnam war. In his professional career, Larry was a Sales Representative at Evans Auto and Electric for 40 plus years where he strived to serve others with exceptional customer service. He had sales and service in his blood, moving on to work at Kenneth Wilsons for another 10 years or so after Evan’s closing. His desire to serve and help others carried on into his later years, where he devoted his time to caring for his wife, Carolyn.
Larry was an avid University of Kentucky Wildcat fan and truly enjoyed watching any sport. Above all, Larry loved the Lord and was a member of West Cumberland Baptist Church.
Service to others has been evident throughout Larry’s life – service to his country, his customers and in the care of his wife. His need to help others and the dedication he has not only put into his work, but into his family, will continue to live on in the wonderful memories and many stories shared.
In addition to his parents, he was also preceded in death by one brother and five sisters.
Left to cherish his memory, loving wife of 57 years, Carolyn Honeycutt, daughters Kristi and husband Rev. Scott Tackett, Misti and husband Christopher Jones, grandson Cameron Jones, brothers Bud Honeycutt and wife Jeanette, Rick Honeycutt, great niece Emily and husband Corey Eldridge, as well as many other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
