Lee Stewart, age 80, of Middlesboro, Kentucky passed away April 12, 2025 at his home.
He was born on July 25, 1944 in Fields, Kentucky.
He was preceded in death by his parents Archie Stewart and Ethel Warren Money, brothers Guliver Stewart, Elmer Stewart, Earnest Stewart, Archie Stewart Jr., Nathaniel Stewart, Donnie Money, and sisters Roberta Howard and Relda Innings.
Lee was proud to be a Shriner and was a 32nd degree Mason. He was a member of the Bell Lodge #691. He enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing and hunting. In his professional life, Lee sold insurance for over 20 years. He was also an avid University of Kentucky basketball and football fan. Lee greatly loved his family, and his number one enjoyment was his grandchildren.
Left to mourn his passing, his loving wife of sixty-one years, Evelyn “Jeanie” Stewart, daughters Lesa (Nabil) Salloum and Brigitte (Mark) Woolum, grandchildren Jeremy Salloum, Alexandria Salloum, Alexia Woolum, Ally Woolum, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
The family will receive friends on Friday, May 23, 2025 from noon until 2:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.
A celebration of life service will follow at 2:00 p.m. at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel.
