Leroy Robbins, age 85, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday April 23, 2025.
He was born on January 7, 1940 in Colmar Kentucky, the son of the late Clendell and Martha Robbins.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by sisters Marie (Herman) Denny, Beatrice (Jerry) Cook, and Myrtle (Wayne) Britton.
Leroy is survived by his wife Carolyn Robbins of 62 years from Colmar, KY; his brother Elwood (Carolyn) Robbins of Colmar, KY: two sons: Mark (Michelle) Robbins of Middlesboro, KY and Matthew (Amy) Robbins of Stanford, KY; six grandchildren: Mikaela (Nathaniel) Gray of Pineville, KY, Jared (Tori) Robbins of Stanford, KY, Morgan (Caleb) Croom of Gallatin, TN, Micah (Mary-Madison) Robbins of Charlotte, NC, Josiah (Emma) Robbins of Danville, KY, Elaine (Caleb) Jackson of Stanford; nine great grandchildren: Sadie Gray, Caroline Robbins, Beckham Gray, Carlin Robbins, Noah Grant Robbins, Sutton Gray, Riley Croom, River Robbins, and Heidi Kate Jackson, as well as a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
Leroy became a Christian at the age of 27, he was a devoted husband and family man, who loved his children and grandchildren. Leroy had a 36-year career with L&N / CSX railroad.
The family of Leroy Robbins will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, April 26, 2025 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with pastor Matthew Robbins officiating. Music will be provided by Mark Robbins, Mikaela Robbins, Nathaniel Gray and Bruce Messer.
Graveside Services will immediately follow at the Good Cemetery, Hutch, Kentucky.
Pallbearers will be Jared Robbins, Micah Robbins, Josiah Robbins, Caleb Jackson, Nathaniel Gray, and Caleb Croom.
