LESLIE MILLS PATTERSON

Leslie Rebecca Mills Patterson, age 41 of Harrogate, TN, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020.

She was born in Middlesboro, KY on December 11, 1978 to Gary Mills and Cathy Idol Owens.

There are not enough words nor enough paper to describe what an amazing, special and unique person Leslie was. So full of life and personality, laughter and love shined from her. Leslie never met a stranger; she loved everybody and everybody equally loved her. Leslie was a firecracker but at the same time had the biggest, kindest heart. She was constantly giving to others and always looking for a way to help someone in need. Leslie had a special ability to make others around her feel loved and like they knew her for years. On top of being a loving and opinionated pistol, she was a wonderful mother to the love of her life, her son Trey, a loving daughter and a friend to all. Leslie was fiercely loyal to a fault and loved unconditionally. She was also a lover of animals and attended Forge Ridge Baptist Church. Her exuberant and bright personality will forever bring a smile to those who will remember and cherish her.

She was preceded in death by her grandparents Roy Lester and Betty Idol, and Carl and Betty Mills, father-in-law Robert Eugene Patterson Sr., uncle Robert Idol, aunt Judy Idol, as well as several cousins and other relatives.

Left to cherish Leslie’s memory, husband Robert Patterson II, mother Cathy Idol Owens (Andrew), father Gary Mills (Kathleen), son Robert “Trey” Eugene Patterson III, sister Lisa Yoakum (Andy), mother-in-law Shirley Patterson, brother and sister -in-law’s Tony Lacefield, Shannon Lacefield, Lee Patterson, Kimberly Patterson and Zachary Patterson, aunts and uncles Mickey Owens, John Owens, Debra Owens and Dorothy Clark, nieces and nephews Tyler Yoakum,Taylor Yoakum, Keionna Snorton, Miciah Patterson, Jamirah Patterson, Nehemiah Patterson, Amirah Patterson and Jada Lacefield, lifelong friend since kindergarten, Erica Wilder Fonseca, special friends Mikel and Vickie Byrne, as well as other nieces, nephew, relatives and many, many, many special friends much too numerous to name.

The family of Leslie Mills Patterson will have Graveside Services on Wednesday, December 9, 2020 at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Dr. William Boyd Bingham III presiding.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Jon Grace, Charlie Lambert, Danny Vaughn, Tommy Ferguson, Brian O’ Brian, Jimmy Scott, Richard Smith, Mikel Byrne, and Mark and Lisa Lamb.
