Lillian Sue Hobbs Stacy, age 73, of Ewing, Virginia passed away May 28, 2024 at her residence.
She was born on March 15, 1951 in Pathfork, Kentucky to the late John H. and Lorena Collett Hobbs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Donald Ray Stacy.
Lillian had a big heart and a great love for all. Her greatest joy came from spending time with her family, and she cherished the special memories she made with her children. She was a huge fan of the Kentucky Wildcat basketball team. She loved all of her “furry family” especially her favorite dogs, Baby and Harley.
Left to mourn her passing, her daughters Donna (Douglas) Steele of Gibson Station, Virginia, and Megan (Fred) Buis of Gibson Station, Virginia, brother Paul W. (Lynn) Hobbs of Pathfork, Kentucky, sister Eva (Mark) Bell of Harlan, Kentucky, brothers John Henry (Tootie) Hobbs Jr of Pathfork, Kentucky, David (Sherrie) Hobbs of Laurel County, Kentucky, special niece Donna Keys, special cousin Layton Howard of Dandridge, Tennessee, special friends Carol and Rocky Steele, her best friend Kedith Hurst of Harrogate, Tennessee, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly.
The family of Lillian Stacy will receive friends Saturday, June 1, 2024 at Green Hills Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
Funeral services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, June 2, 2024 at Green Hills Funeral Home with Rev. Ricky Braden officiating.
Graveside services will follow at the Tackett Cemetery in Hulen, Kentucky.
