Linda A. Redmon, age 74 of Middlesboro, Kentucky went home to be with her Lord and Savior on December 4, 2024 in Gallatin, Tennessee after a long battle with cancer.
She was born January 18, 1950 to the late Earl and Flossie Asher. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Austin Douglas Redmon Sr., children Sheena Sutton and Austin Douglas Redmon Jr., brothers Donald Asher and Allen Asher, and sister Janice Mike.
Linda was a devout member of the Body of Christ and was an active servant of God until her death. She was a Sunday School teacher and Bible Study leader, meditating on the Word of God and fellowshipping with others through scripture. Linda wrote devotionals to encourage others and enjoyed praising her Savior through song. She earned a degree in Ministry from Clear Creek Bible College where she expounded upon her understanding and love for the Lord and his Word. We have lost a precious sister and a tremendous prayer warrior.
Left to cherish her memory, brother Jim Asher, sisters Shelia Parker and husband Rick, Debbie Hawkins, grandchildren Julia Redmon, Asher Redmon, Samuel Sutton, daughter-in-law Lisa Redmon and her children John and Gina Belcher, Hannah Belcher and great-grandson “Little” John, as well as a numerous nieces, nephews, uncles, aunts, cousin, and friends who will miss her so dearly.
The family of Linda Redmon will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 12 noon on Saturday, December 7, 2024 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 12 noon with Mr. Nelson Bingham presiding.
In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to Gideon’s International for Gideon Bibles in Linda’s memory at gideons.org/donate to continue the spreading of the Gospel.
