LINDA LOU CUPP HOBBS Obituary

Linda Lou Cupp Hobbs, age 71 of Pathfork, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, July 22, 2024 surrounded by her family. She was born February 28, 1953 to the late Jessie Cupp and Glessie Green Cupp.

Linda was a devout Christian and member of Blackstar Pentecostal Church. She spent her life as a stay-at-home mother and grandmother. Her calling in life was caring for the elderly, which she truly enjoyed.

Preceding her in death were her parents, Jessie Cupp and Glessie Green Cupp, brothers Arthur and wife Maggie Lou, Oscar and wife Patricia, Jessie C. and wife Marie, Robert, Harold and wife Stella, Hillary, Hubert, and Freeman, sisters Edith Taylor, Earlene Sutton and husband Lewis, brother-in-law Donnie Stacy, and sister-in-law Lillian Stacy.

Left to cherish her memory, husband of 51 years, Paul Wayne Hobbs Sr., children Paul Wayne Hobbs Jr., Brenda Sue Henry and husband Brent, grandchildren Brittany Lynn Watts, Bradley Jacob Watts, great-grandchildren Hayden and Jaxson Harris, brother Donnie Ray Cupp and wife Cynthia, sister Magdalene Bennett and husband James, brothers-in-law David Hobbs and wife Sherry, John Hobbs Jr., sister-in-law Eva Bell and husband Mark, special nieces and nephews Candace (Candy) Lewis, Patricia Wilder, Sharon Cupp, and Mikey Cupp, special friends Daisy Johnson and Johnny Slusher, along with a host of many other family and friends too numerous to name, but all who will miss her dearly.

The family of Linda Lou Cupp Hobbs will receive friends on Friday, July 26, 2024 starting at 6:00 p.m. at the Blackstar Pentecostal Church.

Funeral Services will be Saturday, July 27, 2024 at 2:00 p.m. at the Blackstar Pentecostal Church with Rev. Wesley Wilder and Rev. Bryan Hubbard officiating. Music will be provided by The Ramsey Family, Patricia Wilder, and Vickie Moreland.

Graveside Services will immediately follow in Wilder Cemetery in Brownies Creek, Kentucky.

Pallbearers will be Paul Hobbs Jr., Lee Watts, Mikey Cupp, Michael Green, Bradley Watts, and Adam Cupp.

Green Hills Funeral Home, Middlesboro, is honored to serve the Hobbs family.
