LOIS GIBBONS

Lois June Johnson Gibbons, age 74, a resident of Harrogate, Tennessee, went home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 12, 2025 at the University of Tennessee Medical Center.

She was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on September 8, 1950 to the late Ethern and Beulah Davis Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister Carolyn Wager and brother Randy Johnson.

Lois loved the Lord and was a faithful member of Indian Creek Missionary Baptist Church. She enjoyed worshipping through song, singing in with the gospel group The Gospel Lights. A heart of gold, Lois loved fervently and fully, devoting much of her time to her precious family. Her love for the Lord, her family and worshipping through song will remain steadfast in the many wonderful memories she has shared with those around her.

Left to cherish her memory, husband of 56 years, Roger Gibbons, son Roger Todd Gibbons and wife Kim, granddaughter Jessica Lawson, brothers Danny Carmack, Don Johnson, Rodney Johnson, Tim Holman, sister Wanda Faye Wells, niece and nephew Patsy and Jeff Miracle, brother-in-law John Gibbons and wife Brenda, sisters-in-law Georgia Quillen and husband Bill, Kay Partin and husband Sherman, as well as her church family, other relatives and friends too numerous to name, but all who will miss her dearly.

The family of Lois Gibbons will receive friends from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the Indian Creek Missionary Baptist Church, Harrogate, Tennessee.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, June 14, 2025 at the Indian Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Steve Moyers and Rev. Josh Peters presiding.

Graveside Services to immediately follow at the Mountainview Cemetery, Harrogate, Tennessee.

Pallbearers will be Sherman Partin, Greg Pendleton, Rick Turner, Rick Adkins, Chris Mabe and Robert Cook.
