Luann Foister Manis, born in Convington, Kentucky on January 10, 1962, went to be with her Lord August 30, 2025 at the age of 63.
Her life was a true testament of faith and devotion to the Lord. Her family was her greatest joy. As a Wife, Mother and Grandmother, she poured endless love and warmth into our family.
She was preceded in death by her parents Rev. Sawyer and Mollie Foister, grandson TJ Manis, brothers Millard “Midge” and Donald “Don” Foister.
She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Carl Manis Sr. of Speedwell, TN., children Carla (Jerry) Caldwell of Stoney Fork, KY., Carl Jr. (Amanda) Manis of Pineville, KY., grandchildren Austin Caldwell, Coby Caldwell, Faith Manis, Hope Manis, Jessica Manis and James Manis, sisters Delphia (Jr.) Gambrel of Pineville, KY., and Norma Freels of Tazewell, TN., as well as a large host of family and friends that will miss her dearly.
The family of Luann Manis will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 4, 2025 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 12 noon on Friday, September 5, 2025 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Hurley, Rev. Jeff Baker and Rev. Michael Padgett presiding. Music will be provided by Louise Saylor, Marsha Brock, Ashley Gollihue and Kathy Manis.
Graveside Services will immediately follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, Kentucky.
Family and friends will serve as Pallbearers.
