Maggie Norvell Heck, a devoted follower of Jesus Christ, and loving mother of her four children, passed away peacefully on June 15, 2026 at the age of 76.
Maggie was preceded in death by her parents, Lucy and James Norvell, her eldest son, Jimmy Ray “Spud” Heck, here sister, Dottie Maxwell, and her brother, Kenneth Norvell.
Left to mourn her passing is her daughter, Rhonda (Robbie) Keck of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee, her sons, Lance (Frances Mason) Heck of Middlesboro, Kentucky and Silas (Diane Edmonds) Heck of Middlesboro, Kentucky, daughter-in-law, DeeDee Heck, grandchildren, Luke (Grace Chin) Keck of Tazewell, Tennessee, Jacob (Naveah Couch) Heck of Middlesboro, Kentucky, Brittany (Noah) Miracle of Rutledge, Tennessee, Lynn (Steven) Ingram of Dandridge, Tennessee, sister, Corina Warren of Corbin, Kentucky, brother, Frank (Linda) Norvell of Tazewell, Tennessee, and a host of nieces, nephews, and extended family, dear friends, Lana Brooks and Ina Partin, and other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
The family would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Middlesboro Nursing and Rehab for the extended care provided over the last 14 years, and also to Bluegrass Hospice.
The family will receive friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2026 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Paul Gilbert and Mr. Anthony Marsee officiating.
Family and friends will meet at Green Hills Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 17,2026 at 10:00 a.m. to follow in procession to Capito Cemetery in Middlesboro, Kentucky for 11:00 a.m. graveside services.
Pallbearers will be Silas Heck, Jacob Heck, Anthony Marsee, Aaron Sulfridge, and Luke Keck.
