Margie Ann “Mickey” Jones went to her heavenly home on June 30, 2025. She was born to the late Delphus and Beatrice (Peace) Mason on January 2, 1936.
Mickey was saved at Old Cannon Creek Missionary Baptist Church during a revival in the Fall of 1947, where she was a faithful member.
She was preceded in death by her husband Wayne Jones and son Timothy Jones.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters Teresa (Clayton) Barton and Penny Jones, grandchildren Kristy (Brian) Daniels, Adam (Courtney) Barton, Spencer (Lindzi) Caylor and Jason Jones, great-grandchildren Brady Hoskins, Easton Barton, Gavin Barton, Parker Bussell, P.J. Jones, Hunter Jones and Emma Jones, brothers R.L. (Ruby) Mason and Mitchell Mason, sister Diane (Tom) Miracle, as well as other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
The family of Margie Ann “Mickey” Jones will receive friends from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. John Hall and Rev. Mike Sutton officiating. Music will be provided Kristy and Brian Daniels and the Old Cannon Creek MBC Choir.
A private Graveside Service for family will be held at the Fairview Cemetery, Tazewell, Tennessee.
Pallbearers will be Adam Barton, Spencer Caylor, Doug Brock, Donald Miracle, Wayne Widener and Matt Pruette.
Honorary Pallbearers are Harold Miracle, Sam Hall and Rick Miracle.
