Marie Asher DePriest, born August 24, 1929 entered into Heaven on January 5, 2021.
She was a very committed follower of Christ and believed the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her parents, James and Mellie Asher, sisters Dorothy Jarvis and Vestina Saylor, brothers Johnny, TJ, Daniel, infant brother James Jr, and son Charles R. White.
Left to treasure her memory are her children, Jenny (Danny) Turner of Speedwell TN, Susan Chedester of Colorado Springs CO, Jacob (Jessie) Lewis, Speedwell TN, and Lynnette (Mark) Shadoan Lynchburg VA; grandchildren Charles E. (Rhonda) White, Dawsonville GA, Selena (Randy) Frazier, Pineville KY, Dan (Vanessa) Turner, Speedwell TN, Clint (Demetra) Chedester, Colorado Springs CO, Lindsey (Steve) Belcher, Keller TX, David (Sarah) Chedester, Dallas TX, James and Josh Lewis, Speedwell, TN, 10 great grandchildren and 5 great great grandchildren and daughter-in-law Ruth White of Dawsonville, GA.
Also surviving her are a host of nieces, nephews and many friends who loved her dearly and called her, “sweet Marie”.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private family ceremony will be held at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Middlesboro KY. Entombment will follow. May our beloved mother Rest in Peace and may her memory be eternal.
