MARK CLOUSE JR. Obituary

Mark Aaron Clouse Jr., age 4, of Harrogate, Tennessee was carried into the arms of Jesus on Sunday, June 28, 2026 at the Cincinnati Children’s Hospital with his loving family at his side.

He was born into this world on October 12, 2021 to his Daddy and Mommy who love him so much, Mark Sr. and Patience Clouse.

Bright eyes, a big smile and the sweetest little soul, Mark Jr. was a special little boy who filled his family with nothing but pure joy, happiness and love. Watching Aladdin fly on his magic carpet, Simba roaring to be king of the jungle and Spongebob enjoying a krusty krab burger were some of his favorites to dance and giggle along with. Like most energetic boys, he loved playing with his cars and trucks, especially when he could ride in his Daddy’s real truck. Fast and on the go, Mark was a vibrant, imaginative fearless explorer who loved adventure, play and fun. Filled with curiosity, he was so inquisitive about the world around him.

A genuine child’s heart full of innocence, Mark was always happy – even when he got into a little trouble. You could never rain on his parade, and it was impossible to scold him when he just stared back with those big eyes and sweet grin.

Marky or Bubba, as his five sisters called him, was the special baby boy in a house full of girls. With this, one of his favorite things to do was to make his sisters smell his feet – he wanted the smelliest feet! The bigger reaction and gags the girls would make, the more Marky would break into fits of giggles. Some other of his favorite things were animals and going to the zoo – especially seeing the elephants and zebras. No matter what adventure Mark Jr. went on next, it was a given he wasn’t going to walk nor ride in a carrier, but his hero, his Daddy, always had to carry him the whole time. Snuggling, being at home all together, singing and dancing are some of the fondest memories of Mark Jr. It would swell your heart to see him raise his little hands, praise, sing and worship at Pump Springs Church where he loved going with his family.

Strong, resilient and brave, in Mark Jr.’s short time on this earth, he has made such an impact on those around him. His perseverance and ability to never lose his joy during his heart transplant and journey have been a comfort to his family and others, and a testament of a little boy’s courage in a big world.

Marky’s precious smile, innocent bright eyes, sweet spirit and contagious little giggles will forever be etched into the hearts of his Mommy, Daddy, sisters and all those who were blessed to love him. “You are our sunshine, our only sunshine, you make us happy when skies are grey, you never know dear how much we love you.”

He was preceded in death by his great-grandparents, Carolyn Sue Williams, James Hoy Clouse Sr., and Mark Anthony Hull.

Left to cherish his memory, Daddy and Mommy, Mark Sr. and Patience Clouse, his sisters, Aurora Knight, Izabelle Knight, Anastasia Knight, Elizabeth Clouse and Madison Clouse, grandparents Tiffany Hull and James Hoy Clouse Jr., aunts and uncles Kaiya Scalf, Rylan Scalf, James Hoy Clouse III and Steven Nicholas Clouse, special family Zac and Victoria Crigger, special friends Greg and Ashley Turley and family, as well as many others who will miss him so much.
