Mark Shawn Lamb, age 53, of Cumberland Gap, Tennessee passed away October 31, 2025 at Tennova Healthcare North Medical Center in Powell, Tennessee.
Mark was born on September 30, 1972 in Middlesboro, Kentucky. He was the son of Charles Lamb who precedes him in death and Bernice Owens Redmond who survives.
In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Linda Ausmus, brother Gregory Lamb, and Grandmother Lucille Massengill.
Mark was a consummate jokester and master prankster. He was known for his hilarious sense of humor and for inevitably being the life of the party. He was always telling jokes and making everyone around him laugh and giggle. And nothing tickled him more than to hide around the corner so he could jump out and scare you! His wonderful smile and laughter will be missed by all who knew him.
Left to mourn his passing, his mother and step-dad, Bernice and J.P. Redmond, daughter Katherine Lamb, brother Joseph Teague, sisters April Aldridge and Tina (John) Robertson, nieces Brianna (Dustin) Hoover and Jade Robertson (Morgan) Justice, nephews Dillan (Hailee) Lamb, Jonathan Lamb, and Ethan Aldridge, and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss him dearly.
The family of Mark Shawn Lamb will receive friends Friday, November 7, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home with a Memorial Service to follow.
Green Hills Funeral Home, Middlesboro, is honored to serve the Lamb Family.
