Mary Ann Frost, age 84, born October 8, 1940 in Middlesboro, Kentucky, passed away peacefully on March 26, 2025. She was the only daughter of Chot and Opal Collingsworth, both from Middlesboro, Kentucky. Mary Ann was a graduate of the first nursing class of Lincoln Memorial University in Harrogate, Tennessee. She went on to work and retire as a registered nurse at Middlesboro ARH. She raised six children. There was not a yard sale or estate sale she didn’t stop at. Maryann was an avid collector of antiques, tea pots, books and stories. She was a supporter of the Middlesboro Library where she visited frequently.
Mary Ann was preceded in death by her mother and father, Chot and Opal Collingsworth, and the father of her children, Jacob Shultz Frost.
She is survived by her children: Steve Frost, Paul Michael Frost, Andrew Todd Frost, John Chot Frost, Jacob Frank Frost, and only daughter, Leada Frost Dean.
A host of grandchildren: David Frost, Logan Frost, Grant Frost, Connor Frost, Eric Price, Dylan Frost, Jordan Frost, Peyton Frost, Kimberly Frost, Jonathan Frost, Sean Frost, Ashtyne Frost, Julia Redmon, Asher Redmon, Matthew Dean, and a special granddaughter Patricia "Tootie" Gilvaja, and special friend, Faye Scott.
The family of Mary Ann Frost will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Friday, March 28, 2025 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 29, 2025 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. William Boyd Bingham officiating. Music will be provided by Ashtyne Frost.
Graveside Services will immediately follow at Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, Kentucky.
