MARY LUNDY Obituary

Mary Lou England Lundy was born March 8, 1941 and met her heavenly reward surrounded by her family on March 10, 2025.  Mary was so full of life and made sure everyone knew how much she enjoyed the smallest things it had to offer.  Her greatest joy was her family and her love for her girls was evident to all who knew her.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Lonnie and Lillian England, Husband James Richard Lundy, her precious little girl Nancy Jo Lundy, Sister Helen Johnson, Brother-in-law Jack Kendall and Charles Easterday, Sister-in-law Carol England.

Mary is survived and her memory will live on in her three girls Debbie (Jay) Epperson, Deloris (Oscar) Epperson and Darlene (Jack) Epperson.  Grandchildren John (Lisa) Epperson, Jamie Epperson Wilder, Stella (Scott) Nelson all of Cumberland Gap, Rebecca (James) Lane, Heather (Terry) Lane of Tazewell and Christopher Epperson of Cumberland Gap, and Michelle Epperson of New Tazewell. Brothers Floyd England, Bobbie (Dee) England, Danny (Maryann) England.  Sisters Lucy Easterday, Thelma (Denny) Taylor, Omey Kendall, Norma Sue England all of Indiana and Ruth Gulley of New Tazewell.  17 Great-Grandchildren and 5 great-great-grandchildren.

The family will gather at Green Hills Funeral Home on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. for visitation.

Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. Thursday, March 13, in the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andrew Ayers and Mr. John Epperson officiating.  Music will be provided by Marilyn Rowland and Rex and Sue Tuttle.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, March 14, 2025 at the Epperson Cemetery in Cumberland Gap, Tennessee.  Family and friends will be meeting at 9:15 a.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home to go in procession.  Pallbearers will be Grandsons and Great-Grandsons John Epperson, Christopher Epperson, Nicholos Wilder, Ashton Epperson, Gaven Lane, Scott Mabe and Devin Lane.

The family would like to thank Suncrest Hospice and all their amazing employees for their exceptional care the last four years.  You were all a true blessing to Mary and her family.
