MARY CHARLOTTE BRITTON

Mary Charlotte Britton, age 83, of Harrogate, Tennessee, passed away on April 27, 2024 at the Claiborne Medical Center in Tazwell, Tennessee.

She was born July 18, 1940 in Imboden, Virginia to the late Ralph and Nettie Hickam.

Charlotte was an active member of Pump Springs Baptist Church. In her spare time, she loved to read, especially Amish books. Charlotte was very involved with her friends and enjoyed nothing more than being a loving Nana to her grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Cade Britton.

Left to cherish her memory, daughter Cadena Schaffer and husband Matt, grandchildren Caleb Schaffer and Bryce Schaffer, as well as a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

The family of Mary Charlotte Britton will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, May 2, 2024 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. John Ditty officiating. Piano selection will be provided by Mr. Bruce Messer.

Graveside Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, May 3, 2024 at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens Gazebo Chapel.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Matt Schaffer, Caleb Schaffer, Bryce Schaffer, Fred Dixon and David Hamilton.
