MELISSA LEATH

Melissa Mae Partin Leath, age 52, of Frakes, KY, went home to be with the Lord peacefully on November 9, 2020 at her home after a courageous battle with illness.

She was born in Middlesboro, KY on November 16, 1967 to the late Joe “Peanut” and Wilma Partin.

Melissa was Saved at an early age and was a member of Chenoa Missionary Baptist Church in Chenoa, KY. She was a hard worker, working for many years in various places as a registered CNA. Melissa was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her grand-daughters.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her aunts Irene Partin and Hazel Murray.

She is survived by the following members of her family, loving husband of 33 years, Roddie Leath, daughter Stephanie (Brian) Taylor, grand-daughters Brooklyn Webb, Bethany Gregory and Olivia Taylor, brothers John (Tina) Partin and Matthew (Cassie) Partin, aunt Joyce (Ronnie) Partin, uncles John Wesley (Jean) Partin and Jimmy Partin, mother-in-law Shirley (Sherman) Lambdin, sister-in-laws Lillie (Kelly) Fuson and Melinda (Johnathan) Partin, brother-in-law Carl (Stephanie) Lambdin, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends who will miss her dearly.

The family of Melissa Leath will have private Graveside Services and Interment at Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, KY.
