MELISSA ANN EARLS BROOKS

Melissa Ann “Missy” Earls Brooks, age 57, of Tazewell, Tennessee was born August 22, 1967, and passed on to her heavenly home after complications from the flu on December 17, 2024.  She was saved July 20, 2024, and was a member of Cedar Fork Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Tip, Sr.  and Ethel Earls, maternal grandparents, Clester and Bertha (Moore) Coffey, and her parents, Rufus, Sr. and Susie (Coffey) Earls.

She is survived by her daughter Amber (Kelvin) Daniels, grandson Landon Brooks, granddaughter Lila Daniels, sister Janice (Leroy) Cope, brother Rufus (Tammy) Earls, Jr. and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss her dearly. 

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 21, 2024, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Johnny Parker and Rev. Jim Smith presiding.  Music will be provided by her cousins, Susan Parker and Rebekah Uhrig.

Burial will immediately follow in the Red Hill Cemetery in the Forge Ridge community of Harrogate, Tennessee.  Pall bearers will be Clint Walker, Zach Walker, Landon Brooks, Isaac Cooper, Ryan Daniels, and Jeff Goins.  Honorary pall bearers will be Blayne Walker and Bentley Walker.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to Green Hills Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
