Michael Damon Dixon, age 60, a resident of Middlesboro, KY and a member of the United States Army National Guard, passed away on Friday, December 11, 2020 at the Middlesboro Appalachian Regional Hospital.
He was born in Middlesboro, KY on November 30, 1960 to the late Damon Dixon and Marie Marlow Dixon who survives.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jerry and Bessie Marlow; two brothers DeDe Dixon and Raymond Dixon; granddaughter April A. Dixon; aunts and uncles, Lloyd and Doris Heck, Ralph and Helen Lay, Lethie and James Marlow, Flo Marlow, Billy and Mary Marlow, Cye Marlow ,Ima Jo Wade and Bobby Marlow; cousin Todd Wade; and a special friend that he loved dearly Gayle Vanover.
He was survived by his mother Marie Marlow Dixon, Middlesboro, KY; one son Christopher Dixon, Middlesboro, KY; two daughters, Jennifer (Rodney) Ferguson II, Powell, TN and Samantha (Ryan) Davis, Easton, Maryland. Four sisters and one brother-in-law, Karen and Tim Ousley, Harrogate, TN, Lisa Cook, Middlesboro, KY, Kim Chavez, Pineville, KY and Marilyn Jackson, Pineville, KY; one special brother, Joshua Cook, Middlesboro, KY; grandchildren Cheyenne Dixon, Christina Dixon, and Jensen Davis; great-grandchild, Michael Barnett; three nephews, Dustin (Jade) Buttery, Middlesboro, KY, Jonathon (Tonya) Dixon, Middlesboro, KY, and Jacob Cody Dixon Hunley, Arjay, KY; one aunt, Sue Littrell, Barbourville, KY; and a host of great nephews and nieces, cousins, and special friends.
The family of Michael Dixon will have visitation from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be held at 1:00 pm on Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Lamb presiding.
Graveside Services will immediately follow at the Marlow Cemetery in Rockholds, Whitley County, KY.
Pallbearers will be Christopher Dixon, Rodney Ferguson II, Ryan Davis, Jonathon Dixon, Dustin Buttery, Brandon Barnett, and Tim Ousley.
