MIKAYLA SPANSKI

Mikayla Denise Spanski, age 30, of Bell County, Kentucky went home to be with the Lord on October 12, 2025 at Harlan Health and Rehab in Harlan, Kentucky after a long fought illness.

She was born on January 11, 1995 in Bell County, the daughter of the late Michael Spanski and the late Victoria Denise Quinones.

Mikayla was a loyal UK fan and always cheered for her Big Blue Wildcats.  She was known for her infectious laugh, her charming sense of humor, and her ability to bring joy to those around her.  Her sweet smile and disposition were evidence that she had a heart full of love for her friends, family, and caretakers.

Left to mourn her passing, her loving grandparents Spanky and Minnie Spanski, her brother Phillip Vincent Quinones, aunts Crystal Spanski, Bobbie Jean Spanski, and Shelia Spanski, uncles Eddie Joe Spanski and Kenny Spanski, as well as a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

The family would like to express their deep and heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Harlan Health and Rehab for the wonderful care that they gave to our sweet Mikayla and the love they have shown to her and our family.

The family of Mikayla Spanski will receive friends Thursday, October 16, 2025, from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral service will follow at 8:00 p.m. Thursday, October 16, 2025, at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Darrell Lowe, Rev. James Teaney, and Rev. Astor Simpson officiating.  Music will be provided by Erica Baker. 

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 17, 2025 at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens Gazebo.
