Myra Lenoria Booker Smith, age 106 of Middlesboro, KY passed away Wednesday, October 6, 2021 peacefully at Middlesboro Nursing and Rehabilitation Facility, Middlesboro, KY. She was born January 11, 1915 at Edgewood, Kentucky to Waymon Booker and Sally (Julia) Neal Booker. Myra She was the youngest of 10 siblings. In 1928 she married the late John Robert Smith at the age of 14 and mothered 7 children (3 girls and 4 boys).
She was preceded in death, by her Father Waylon Booker, mother Sally (Julia) Neal Booker, grandmother Lucenda Neal, sisters Evie Neal, Molly Neal, Frankie (Kyle) Martin Elizabeth Patton Staples, Ada (Kyle) Alexander, Christine (Kyle) Jackson and Stelia Booker Thacker, brothers Dan Neal and James “Jim” Kyle, daughters Ruth Smith Dunson, Myra Smith Perdue and Julia Ann Smith Bryant, sons W.J. Smith, John Wesley Smith, John Robert Smith Jr., grandsons John R. Smith and Walter Bryant, Danny M. Smith and Gerald Smith, granddaughter Mattie Lenoria Smith and great-grandson McKinley Danson Jr., daughters-in-law’s Vera (Kunze) Smith and Martha Smith Thompson.

The family of Myra Smith will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Homegoing Services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Thursday, October 14, 2021 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Apostle Dennis Scott Kyle officiating.
Graveside Services to immediately follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, KY.
