Nancy Jean Barnett, age 84, went to her Heavenly home on Thursday November 10th, 2022.
Nancy was born on Sept 26th 1938. She was a wonderful and beloved, Wife, Mother, and Granny. Above all, she loved her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She had a servants heart, giving hands, and arms full of love. She was a faithful member of the Binghamtown Baptist Church.
She was preceded in the death by her loving Husband of 49 years George Henry “Buster” Barnett. Her son, George Ronnie “Hero” Barnett. Her mother, Minnie Robinson Taylor and her Father, Sherman Maples, her beloved Aunt Corey and uncle Poppy. Also, her beloved son in law Terry Blaine “ Chicken” Mcmanaway and her great granddaughter Izabella Blaine “Izzy” Macmanaway
She is survived in death by her Daughter Connie Macmanaway, Daughter, Mindy Graves (Max Graves), Son Timothy Barnett, Son Tommy Barnett, and Son Michael Barnett (Lisa Barnett).
A host, of grandchildren and great Grandchildren, Mac Macmanaway, Corey Macmanaway Elyssa Macmanaway Adam Barnett, Matthew Barnett, Linzy Tuttle, Curtis Graves, Samantha Brummett, Katie Miller, Alex Barnett, Haley Saylor, Marina Hounshell.
Great grandchildren, Zavery, Zoe, Izaiah, Kezlin, Ezekiel, Caleb, Sophia, Elizabeth, Hudson, Emmie Rose, Chloe, Blaine, Racheal, Levi, Annabelle, Gabriel, Grant, Caroline.
“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:
Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.” 2 Timothy 4:7-8
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 14, 2022 from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 6:00 p.m. Monday, November 14, at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. William Boyd Bingham officiating. Music will be provided by Benny Howard, Thomasa Risner and Justin Rasnake.
All Graveside services will be private.
