Nellie Jean Money Reese, age 71, of Middlesboro, passed away on April 29, 2024 at her home.
She was born in Pineville, Kentucky on September 12,1952 to the late Fred and Elsie Fuson Money.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Jackie Lynn Reese, and brother Don Money.
Jean was a wonderful Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. She enjoyed nothing more than getting to spend time with her family, especially her grandchildren whom she loved so much. She also enjoyed reading and cooking. Jean was an excellent cook, fixing meals that her family loved to enjoy together. She was a selfless person, always doing and thinking about others, and a very hard worker. Jean retired from Middlesboro A.R.H. after many years. All who were blessed to have known her will miss her so greatly.
Left to cherish her memory, loving husband of 51 years, John Reese, sons Steven Reese and wife Jamie, Shawn Reese and wife Spring, and Joshua Reese, grandchildren Jacob Greene, Tyler Reese, Ramie Reese, Devin Reese, Logan Reese, Landon Reese, Kelcy Reese, Ethan Reese, and Paisley Reese, brothers Kermit Money, Jack Money and wife Theresa, sister Joann Gibson, brother in-law Paul Baker and wife Diana, best friend Rita Berndt, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
The family of Jean Reese will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2024 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted by Fr. Prashanth Lobo at 2:00 p.m. at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel.
Graveside Services to immediately follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be her grandsons.
