Norma Lee Prater Sizemore passed away peacefully at the Claiborne Medical Center in New Tazewell, Tennessee on November 26, 2025 while surrounded by family and friends, and holding the hand of the love of her life, Donald Sizemore, her husband of 60 years.
Norma was of the Baptist faith and was a member of Indian Creek Missionary Baptist Church in Harrogate. Norma was one of the most Godly women you would encounter, and to know her was to love her. Norma was Saved at a young age.
She was born December 9, 1950 to the late Herman and Gracie Prater of Harrogate, TN. Norma had one sibling, Troy Prater, who passed away as an infant, as well as being preceded in death by her son-in-law Ronald “Ronnie” Harmon of New Tazewell, TN.
Norma leaves behind her beloved husband Donald Sizemore of Harrogate, TN., whom she married on February 4, 1965, daughters Valerie Harmon of New Tazewell, TN. And Wilma Daniels of Harrogate, TN., grandchildren Joshua (Elizabeth) Daniels, Michael (Shannon) Daniels, Steven (Shae) Harmon, Samantha (Brady) Shelton, great-grandchildren Dameon, Blake, Abby, Jake, Garrett, Gracie, Aiden and Maddie, as well as a host of many other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
The family of Norma Sizemore will receive friends from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Indian Creek Missionary Baptist Church.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 29, 2025 at Indian Creek Missionary Baptist Church with Rev. Steven Moyers and Rev. Josh Peters presiding. Music will be provided by the Church singers.
Graveside Services to immediately follow at the Crane Cemetery, Harrogate, Tennessee.
Pallbearers will be Joshua Daniels, Michael Daniels, Blake Daniels, Jake Daniels, Dameon Daniels, Steven Harmon and Brady Shelton .
Honorary Pallbearers will be Garrett Harmon, Aiden Shelton, Josh Mize, Jackie Mize and Jerry Gambrel.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Claiborne Medical Center for the wonderful care and love shown during this time.
