PATSY YEARY

Patsy Sue Yeary, age 72, passed away on Tuesday, June 9, 2020 in Marietta, Georgia and her spirit returned to God who gave it.

She was born March 24, 1948 in Middlesboro, Kentucky to the late James Frank Yeary Sr and Cleo Snowflake Johnson Yeary.

She graduated in 1966 from Thomas Walker High School in Ewing, Virginia. After High School she joined her sisters and a cousin in the Washington D.C. area working for the Chesapeake and Potomac Telephone Company. In 1969 she married and moved to Boulder, Colorado where for 25 years she worked for Mountain Bell Telephone Company and later became a manager with US West. She divorced and remarried and lived in Georgia and Washington. After retiring she moved back to Georgia to be closer to family.

She was preceded in death by sisters Margaret Yeary Harms, Wilma Yeary and brothers, James Frank Yeary Jr., and Michael Yeary.

She has two surviving brothers, Larry (Andrea) Yeary and Steven (Alice) Yeary. Other survivors include her daughter Amanda Schuler (Jay) Starr and son Joshua (Hannah) Schuler along with four grandchildren, John Henry, Schuler, Simone and Otis.

A Celebration of Life Memorial service will be held on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. in the Gazebo, Green Hills Cemetery, Middlesboro, Kentucky. She will be laid to rest in the Yeary family plot with her mother, father and sister at Green Hills Cemetery.
