With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Pattie Herron, who went home to be with the Lord on the morning of February 26, 2025. She leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, and devotion to her family and friends.
Born on April 14, 1940, Pattie was a woman of warmth and kindness, always putting others before herself. A lifelong member of Binghamtown Baptist Church, her faith was the cornerstone of her life, guiding her through all of life’s joys and challenges.
She now rests in the arms of her beloved mother, Ruth Long; her sister, Mary Alice Ayers; and her cherished granddaughter, Tonya Elliott. Though we grieve her loss, we take comfort in knowing that she is reunited with them in heaven.
Pattie is survived by her loving brother, Glen Long and wife Sue, and sister, Cookie Long. She will be deeply missed by her children: Terry Whited and husband Mark, Tim Hoskins and wife Robin, Tammy Miracle, Todd Mason, Diddle Herron and wife Sonya. Her grandchildren—Tabitha Overbay, Aaron Mason, Tyler Miracle, Trinity Gilmore, Taylor Thomas, Tanner Hoskins, Trey Mason, and Tilly Hoskins—were her greatest joys, and she was endlessly proud of them. She was also survived by multiple nieces, nephews, and great-grandchildren, all of whom she loved dearly.
Pattie’s love and wisdom will remain in our hearts forever. Though her presence will be deeply missed, her spirit lives on in the lives she touched.
The family of Pattie Herron will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at Binghamtown Baptist Church.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 15, 2025, at Binghamtown Baptist Church.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to Gateway Christian School.
