Phanya Partin, age 70, went home to be with the Lord after a tragic house fire took her life on December 15, 2025.
She was born in Sing Buri Province, Thailand on November 15, 1955 before coming to live in the United States. Phanya was preceded in death by her husband Jerry Partin, to whom she was a devoted wife and companion for 50 years.
Phanya was a wonderful wife, mother, and grandmother. She was very much at home in the kitchen, cooking delightful meals and canning fruits and vegetables to enjoy year-round. She loved spending time in her little garden and was proud of the bounty that God blessed her with. She was a beautiful lady, inside and out, who had a heart full of love for her daughters and grandchildren, and her four-legged babies, Cosmo and GiGi who passed along beside her. She enjoyed crocheting and working puzzle books as a way to relax.
She leaves behind her beloved daughters, Caralyn Partin and Mary Lay, cherished grandchildren Ria Farmer, Tyler Partin, Keith Bailey, Lily Alvarez, Leila Alvarez, Grant Farmer, Levi Farmer, Judah Farmer, and many other relatives and friends who will miss her more than words can say.
The family of Phanya Partin will receive friends Sunday, December 28, 2025 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be conducted by Dr William Boyd Bingham, III Sunday, December 28, 2025 at 1:30 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the John A. Partin Cemetery in Frakes, Kentucky.
Green Hills Funeral Home, Middlesboro, is honored to serve the Partin Family.
