RAMONA HELTON

Ramona Sue Crawford Helton, age 70, of Maynardville, Tennessee, passed away on August 11, 2024 with her loving family at her side.

She was born November 23, 1953 to the late Raymond and Stella Russell Crawford. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill” Helton, and sisters Violet, Kathy, and Diana.

Ramona loved spending time with her family and having special family gatherings. She enjoyed a good find at the thrift store, and hunting treasures at Goodwill and AMVETS. Ramona liked to travel, especially when it involved going to Nevada and Indianapolis to visit her family. She had a love for her grandchildren and great-grandchild, spoiling them endlessly with her home-cooked meals and showering them with love.

Left to cherish her memory, daughter Rhonda Inman and husband Tim, sisters Joyce Piory, and Willa Newby, grandchildren Kimberly Nunn, Joshua Nunn, and Robin Inman, great-grandchildren Gabriel Wright and Nova Lynn Khoshaba, special niece, Tonya Collier, as well as a many other relatives and friends, all of whom will miss her so dearly.

The family of Ramona Helton would like to extend a heartfelt gratitude to the nurses and staff of Suncrest Hospice for their excellent care and compassion during this journey.

Receiving of friends will be held from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. Monday, September 2, 2024 at Green Hills Funeral Home.

A Celebration of Life will immediately follow at 2:00 p.m. in the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel.
