RANDALL HOUSTON

Randy Houston, age 59, of Middlesboro, Kentucky, passed away peacefully March 5, 2025, at Middlesboro ARH Hospital. Born on December 3, 1965, to Ruby and Lee Houston, Randy was a beloved husband, father, brother, and friend whose warmth and kindness touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing him.

Randy was a devoted and proud father to his two sons, Randy Houston (Leanna Gulley) and Tyler Houston.  His love for his children knew no bounds, and he found his greatest joy in being their dad.  Randall deeply loved his wife Melissa Houston, with whom he shared over three decades of marriage – years filled with love, laughter, and unwavering support.  He was also a special friend and great encourager of Middlesboro Mayor, Boone Bowling.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Ruby and Lee Houston, as well as cherished family members Ira “Little Man” Houston, Dorothy Goad, Danny Houston, and Carol Johnson.

In addition to his wife and sons he is also survived by his siblings, Jerry Houston, Mary McManaway, Lois Johnson, and Lynn Houston, who will forever hold his memory close to their hearts.

Randy had a lifelong love for football, and nothing brought him more excitement than cheering on his favorite team, the Las Vegas Raiders.  Whether he was watching a game or spending time with his family, these simple joys were the heart of his happiest moments. Randy valued the time spent with those he loved, and his presence brought warmth and laughter to every gathering.

He leaves behind a legacy of love, laughter, and hard work. Randy was a man of incredible strength and determination, facing every challenge with courage and grace. His kindness, loyalty, and the love he shared will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew him.

To know Randy was to love him. His family and friends will miss him dearly but will forever cherish the memories they shared. His spirit will live on through the love he gave, the lessons he taught, and the example he set for those who were fortunate enough to be a part of his life.

Randy Houston’s memory will be treasured always, and the love we have for him will never fade.
