RANDY TREVOR AYERS

Randy Trevor Ayers, age 36, of Tazewell, Tennessee passed away July 27, 2026 at the Turkey Creek Medical Center in Knoxville, Tennessee.

He was born on August 25, 1989 in Middlesboro, Kentucky and is the son of Traci Violet-Ayers of Tazewell, Tennessee and Gillis Robin Ayers of Harrogate, Tennessee.

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandfather, Paul Violet, paternal grandparents, Gillis and Bunie Ayers, uncle, Rocky Webb, cousin, Robert P. Taylor, and stepdaughter of the heart, Journey Copely.

Randy was known for his sweet disposition, and he always had a kind heart.  He believed in the Baptist faith and had recently rededicated his life to the Lord.

He leaves behind his two beautiful daughters that he adored, Joy Lynn Ayers and Jordann Ayers, his mother, Traci Violet-Ayers, his father, Gillis Robin Ayers, maternal grandmother, Rosa Hurst, brothers, Travis Ayers, (LaKota Cox) and Tyler Wolfenbarger (Rayli), his sister, Amber Ayers, aunts, Michele Gilbert (Michael), Melba Webb, Cindy Williams (Fred Young), and Stacie King (David), girlfriend, Tiffany Parker, stepson of the heart, Phillip Bolden, nephews, Adam Wolfenbarger, Abel Wolfenbarger, Alex Wolfenbarger, Atticus Ayers, and Malachi Gibson, niece, Aiyana Morgan, a host of cousins that he loved dearly, and other relatives and friends who will miss him so very much.

The family of Randy Ayers will receive friends Friday, July 31, 2026 from 5:00p.m. to 7:00p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00p.m. Friday, July 31, 2026 in the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David King and Rev. Ryan Bailey presiding.  Music will be provided by Michaela Gilbert.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Green Hills Funeral Home to help with funeral expenses.
