RETHA HOSKINS

Retha Hoskins, 70, of Middlesboro, Ky, passed away peacefully Monday, December 21st at Middlesboro Appalachian hospital after a short battle with cancer. She was born November 12th, 1950 to the late Robert Hunley and Nancy Cupp Hunley.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Homer Hoskins; brother Willis Hunley; sisters Losie Miracle, Reva Mae White and Viola Hunley.

She is survived by the following members of her family, daughter Joann Dunn and husband Jeff; sister Arlene Miracle; brother Argene Hunley and wife Drucellia; brother-in-law and sister-in-law Ewell and Carolyn Hoskins; sister-in-law Janice Hensley; granddaughter Linda Peters and husband Justin; great-grandchildren Aiden, Jaylyn and Anson Peters; a special great-grandson Carson Gage and a host of nieces and nephews. Retha had some nieces and nephews who thought dearly of her and called her their mamaw which includes Carolyn, Cortney and Elijah Scott, as well as special friend Jeanie Stewart.

The family will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 26, 2020 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Wilson officiating. Music will be provided by the Richardson Chapel Church Choir.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Sunday, December 27, 2020 at the Ewell Hoskins Cemetery, Brownies Creek, KY.

Retha was a food service worker for the Bell County School System for over 27 years where she retired; she will be missed by many more then she could ever imagine.
