Rhonda Elaine Gray Farmer, age 64 a resident of Danville, KY passed away Friday, August 15, 2025 at the Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center in Danville, KY.
She was born September 26, 1960 in Middlesboro, KY to the late Verlan and Alice Faye Treece Gray. In addition to her parents, Rhonda was preceded in death by brother Andy Gray, sister Chesney Gray, grandparents Lonnie and Jane Treece and Milford and Hazel Gray.
Rhonda was a lover of all things University of Kentucky sports, an avid fan that was always rooting on her beloved wildcats, whether it was on the gridiron, the baseball diamond or the ball court. She was always supporting the big blue.
Left to mourn her passing is her daughter Mercedes Vaught and husband Jason, Granddaughter Rhylynn Grayce Vaught, brother Richard Gray and wife Shirley, sister Elizabeth ‘Pib’ Holbrook and husband Gary and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
The family of Rhonda Gray Farmer will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 23, 2025 at the Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday, August 23, in the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. William Boyd Bingham officiating. Music will be provided by Mr. Jimmy Rose.
Interment will immediately follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens with family and friends serving as pallbearers.
