Roger Wilder Sr., age 74, of Miracle, KY passed away Friday January 16th, 2026, at his home.
He was born September 10, 1951, in Bell County, a son of the late Bill and Nancy Ellen Wilder. He was a member of Oakdale Missionary Baptist Church and a dedicated Coal Miner of 33 years.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his stepdaughter, LaCosta Lee, Daughter-in-law Jennifer Lee, five brothers Martin, Hugh, Lowell, Winston and Britt Wilder, two sisters, Janie Lawson and Deborah Hunley.
Survivors include his wife, Deanna Gay Wilder, one son Roger and Angie Wilder, one daughter Ellen and Rufus Wilder, stepson Neil Lee, four sisters Rose Ann Roark, Ruth Lee, Patsy Lee and Deena Nelson, ten grandchildren Preston and Katlin Wilder, Layton, Bailey, Emma, Darrin, Kadence, Brooke, Dalton and Dylan, six great grandchildren Roger (Jasper), Levi, Brogan, Colton, Presley, Avery and Murphy, Special friends RB Wilson, and JB Wilson and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
The family of Roger Wilder will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Monday January 19th, 2026, at the Green Hills Funeral Home in Middlesboro, Kentucky
Funeral services will be conducted at 8:00 p.m. Monday, January 19, 2026, at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Miracle, Rev. Mike Sutton and Rev. Jimmy Nelson officiating. Music will be provided by the Oakdale Missionary Baptist Church choir.
Graveside Services will be held at the Cubbage Cemetery on Tuesday January 20th 2026 at 1:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
