Ronald “Ronnie” Joe Wallen, age 76, of Middlesboro, Kentucky passed away June 23, 2024 at the Middlesboro Health Care Facility.
Ronnie was born on October 29, 1947 in Hancock, County Tennessee to the late Mack and Grace Hurd Wallen.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister June Wallen Johnson, and his father-in-law Damon Davis.
He grew up in the Kyles Ford area of Hancock County, Tennessee and later moved to Middlesboro, Kentucky where he worked and retired from the Middlesboro School System. He loved to work with his hands building things and doing mechanic work. Ronnie used his very capable hands to build his own family home in Ambleside. He had a desire and drive to learn new skills and was self-taught; through reading and tackling any task, he was always learning to do something new.
Left to mourn his passing, his loving wife of 45 years Joan Davis Wallen, sons Kevin (Jamon) Wallen, Brandon Wallen, daughter Ashley Wallen, mother-in-law Lorene Davis, sister Doris Wallen, grandchildren Damon Wallen, Addison Miracle, Katherine Wallen, Alexis Miracle, Amelia Miracle, and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends who will miss him dearly.
All services for Ronald “Ronnie” Joe Wallen will be private.
