Ruby Miracle Maiden, age 79, passed away May 17, 2021. She was born January 11, 1942 at Chenoa, KY to Tom and Dora Jane Miracle, who both preceded her in death, along with her beloved husband of 61 years Porter Maiden, two brothers, Willie Miracle and Dennis Miracle and nephews Brian David Maiden and Timothy Allen Maiden.
She is survived by her sons, Lyle Dean (Judy) Maiden of Frakes, KY, Gregory Todd Maiden of Lexington, KY, Curtis Lee Maiden of Speedwell, TN, Grandchildren Mark Allen Maiden, Porter Dean (Roxanne) Maiden, Justin Keith Maiden, Kimberly Maiden, Curtis Lee (Sarah) Maiden Jr. and Kayla Lawson, Great-Grandchildren Trenton Maiden, Marley and Benjamin Lyle Maiden, Garrison Maiden and his step-sisters Kenadie, Lauren and Maci.
Her brothers and sisters, Wayland (Anna-Faye) Miracle of Frakes, KY, Willard (Freda) Miracle of Jackson, MI, Raleigh (Barbara) Miracle of Statesville, NC, Gary (Violet) Miracle of Frakes, KY and Eddie Ray (Carol) Miracle of Siler, KY, Eliza Wilson of Dayton, OH, Sarah Lou Hatfield, and Betty (Clifford) Maiden, all of Frakes, KY, Sister-in-law Jenny Lynn Miracle and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Ruby Loved the Lord and was a faithful member of the New Vine Missionary Baptist Church. She loved spending time with her family especially when they would go to the lake. She also loved Christmas and any other Holiday and special occasion where she could be with her family.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 20, 2021 at the New Vine Missionary Baptist Church. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jerry Fuson and Rev. Lee Mahan officiating. Music will be provided by the New Vine Church singers.
Graveside services will immediately follow in the Maiden Cemetery on Upper Laurel Fork, family and friends will serve as pallbearers.
The family request that in lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the New Vine Missionary Baptist Church or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
