Ruth Robertson, 99 of Ewing, Virginia went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, January 31st, 2024, at Claiborne Medical Center, Tazewell, Tennessee. Ruth was preceded in death by her father, Erie Estridge and her mother, Maggie Surber Estridge and her husband Troy Robertson. She is survived by her daughter, Carol Ball Ayers and Troy Lynn Robertson of Ewing, VA and her grandchildren, Lisa Ball McKeen (Matthew), April Simering (Brian), Colleen Evans (Mitchel), Jake and Tom Robertson (Dana) and eleven great-grandchildren.
Ruth was a member of Gibson Station Missionary Baptist Church. Her passion was cooking, gardening, and taking care of her family. You would never go by to see her without leaving with something to eat, even if it was a fresh biscuit. Ruth had a special gift of making everyone she met feel special. She loved her dog "Sadie" as a valued member of her family. Ruth "Mamaw" will be missed terribly by her family.
A Graveside Service will be held on Wednesday, February 7th, 2024, at 1:00 p.m. at Robertson Cemetery, 121 Green Lane (Clouds Road), New Tazewell, Tennessee with Rev. Preston Smith presiding. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to Gibson Station Missionary Baptist Church.
Green Hills Funeral Home, Middlesboro, is honored to serve the Robertson family.
