Sadie Coffman, age 85, of Frakes, Kentucky went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, December 20, 2023 at the Middlesboro Nursing and Rehab Center.
She was born in Pearl, Kentucky on June 16, 1938. She was the daughter of the late Cal and Nellie Partin.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband Olen Bussell, her brothers Ernest Partin, Rev Hillary Partin and Andy Partin, sister Pearl Wilder, Sylvia Hurst, Sidney Partin, Bessie Combs and Louise Barnett.
Left to cherish her memory, her husband of 24 years Charles Coffman, family members Darla Wilkes of Sebring, Florida. Cindy Coffman of Pineville, Kentucky, Judy (Darrell) Mason of Pineville, Kentucky, Sibyl Hurst of Pineville, Kentucky, Charles Coffman II of Pineville, Kentucky, Diane Bell of Gulf Shores, Alabama, John (Maria) Coffman of Phil Campbell, Alabama, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a host of other family and friends who will miss her dearly.
Visitation will be held from 12 noon until 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2023 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 22, 2023 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bernley Lambdin and Rev. Mitchell Partin presiding.
Interment will immediately follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, Kentucky.
Kyle Howard, Tyler West, Ryan West, Mickey Webb, Jody Stacey and Mitchell Partin will serve as pallbearers.
The family would like to extend a special thanks to the Middlesboro Nursing and Rehab Center for being so good to Aunt Sadie; showing her so much love and caring, and being there for her family, knowing how to love people with dementia. Special thanks to hospice nurse Nikki and the hospice chaplain for their love and support. The family would also like to especially recognize and thank her caretaker, her niece Sandra Jackson, for the faithfulness and love that she showed Aunt Sadie.
