SANDRA ROBBINS

Sandra Louise “Sandy” Robbins, age 72, of Calvin, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on August 4, 2026 while surrounded by the love of her boys.

She was born September 25, 1953 in Knox County, Kentucky, the daughter of the late Elizabeth Thomas France.

If you saw Sandy, you saw George Clyde, Clyde and Jeffrey – her family was her world, and nothing was more important to her than being with them. She also loved her dog, Bandit, who she often referred to as her “baby” and could do no wrong.

A servant’s heart, Sandy enjoyed being able to feed others, most notably hosting huge dinners at her home for all in the community to attend. Father’s Day, Mother’s Day or any other holiday, she would have a spread set to feed hundreds and simply enjoyed the laughter and fellowship of having people come together under her roof. It goes without saying though, her favorite time of year was Christmas because she could decorate her home and fill it with the most beautifully decorated trees (that her sons had to assemble and fluff repeatedly).

Sandy expressed her love for others through food, decorating and creating something special for all to enjoy. Her love for her boys and others will continue to live on in the wonderful memories made at her home, and all who were blessed to know her will miss her sorely.

Left to cherish her memory, loving husband of 43 years, George Clyde Robbins, special sons whom she adored, Clyde Thomas Robbins and Jeffrey Todd Robbins, special friends Bill and Kathy Harbin and their sons, Trey and Tyler Harbin, and Chris and Barbara Warren and their daughters Madelyn and Meredith Warren, special caregiver Pam Hoskins who provided her with wonderful care, as well as a host of many other relatives, friends and a community who mourns her passing.

A special and heartfelt expression of gratitude to the Bluegrass Care Navigators Hospice for their love and exceptional care provided to Sandy.

The family of Sandy Robbins will receive friends from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 8, 2026 at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Saturday, August 8, 2026 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, August 9, 2026 at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel.
