Scotty Edward Haley, age 49, of Bryson City, North Carolina, passed away on December 9, 2024. Scott was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky, on August 31, 1975, to loving parents Eddie and Pam Haley of Gray, Tennessee.
He was an avid UK and Bears fan. He loved playing football and loved his team and coaches. He was owner/operator of Family Traditions Painting. His sons, daughter and wife were an active part of the business.
He was preceded in death by his grandmother that he loved so much, Anna Laws Taylor., and Grandmother Adaline Coker.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Alisa Haley, Sons, Hunter (Amber) Haley and Cameron Haley, Daughters, Nora Haley, of Bryson City, NC and Leslee Howard Seeger of Gray, TN, Three grandchildren, Fisher, Aurora, and Raven Haley, Sister, Janet (Jeff) Allen of Tyler Texas, Special sister, Nikkie (Josh) White of Knoxville, TN, Loving Aunt Gina Morrison and Uncle Tom (Michael) Gambrel, and Special family members Doris Cooper, James (Pap) and Joyce (Nan) Dean and Adopted Uncle Joel Wilson.
Honorary pallbearers are Hunter Haley, Cameron Haley, Shannon Collins, James Gilbert, Shawn Peters, Josh Prater, Jeff Daniels, and Dusty Roberts.
Scott has requested that nobody wear black. He's asked for visiting family and friends to wear UK apparel or KY blue or white.
The family of Scotty Haley will receive friends from 5:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 13, 2024 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 6:00 p.m. Friday, December 13, 2024 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel.
