SHANNON CARPENTER

Shannon Marie Baker Carpenter, age 33, of Middlesboro, Kentucky, went home to be with the Lord on Friday, September 24, 2021 at the Middlesboro A.R.H.

She was born in Harlan, Kentucky on August 3, 1988 to Johnny Baker and Shirley Green who both survive.

Shannon was a wonderful Wife, Mother and Friend. She had a big heart of gold and would do anything she could to help others. Her husband and her two daughters were the light of her life. She loved everyone and never met a stranger. She enjoyed her job at Roses Department Store because it gave her the opportunity to meet new people and help others. She was just as beautiful on the outside as she was inside. Her big smile could light up any room and glowed. She loved attending church and was a faithful member at Shawanee Pentecostal Church. All were blessed to have known Shannon will forever cherish her sweet memory. 

She was preceded in death by her papaw Dole Baker.

Left to mourn her passing, loving and devoted husband Ricky Carpenter, her special girls Makayla Miller and Raegan Carpenter, father Johnny Baker, mother Shirley Green, brothers Mark (Katrina) Baker, John Ron Baker Jackson Baker and Ethan Baker, sisters Beth Smith and Rebecca Jones, mamaw Lois Swanson, step papaw Ronald Swanson, as well as a host of many other relatives and friends too numerous to name. 

The family of Shannon Carpenter will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 28, 2021 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Herstel Belcher and Rev. Steven Temple officiating.

Graveside Services will immediately follow in the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, KY.
