SHERLIE HUNLEY

Sherlie Green Hunley, passed away peacefully while surrounded by her loving family on July 29, 2021.

She was born on May 1, 1937 in Marengo, Indiana to the late Freal and Edna Bullington Green. Sherlie was a graduate of Milltown High School in Milltown, Indiana. She was also a former member of the Milltown and North Bullitt Christian Churches. After 32 years of service, Sherlie retired from her career as a Credit Analysis. She was a loving Wife, Mother, and Grandmother. All who were blessed to have known Sherlie will miss her dearly.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter Valerie L Knuettel, and three sisters Marilyn L Phillips, Janet L Davis and Mary L Wildmone.

As well as a host of many nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.

The family of Sherlie Hunley will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at Green Hills Funeral Home, 31 Hurst Road, Middlesboro, KY 40965.

Additional visiting hours will be held from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 2, 2021, at Swarens Funeral Home, 1405 Highway 64 NM, Ramsey, IN 47166.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 3:00 p.m. Monday, August 2, 2021 at the Swarens Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Donnie Whitlow, Mr. Martin Davis and Mr. Jeff Davis officiating.

Interment to follow in the Milltown Cemetery, Milltown, IN.
