Shirley Ann Saylor Harber, age 79, of Harrogate, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, February 8, 2021 at Claiborne County Medical Center. Her strength, her devotion to God, family, friends and community in her earthly walk with God is a rare treasure no amount of money could afford. The shadow she cast upon this earth as a reflection of our Heavenly Father will linger still.
She was born in Blackstar, KY on July 7, 1941 to the late Levi and Rosa Daniels Saylor.
Shirley was a Beautician for many years in Middlesboro and a graduate of Lincoln Memorial University. She also worked for the state of Kentucky in Vocation Rehabilitation which she loved because it gave her the opportunity to help others. Shirley loved the Lord; faithfully attending church where she enjoyed singing. She was a member at Abundant Life in Middlesboro, KY, later attending Faith Temple in Pineville, KY, then Shiloh Church in Middlesboro and more recently Living Hope of Harrogate, TN.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers and sisters, Thurman Saylor, Warren Saylor, Henry Saylor, Eulis Saylor, Don Saylor, Eugene Saylor, James Edward Saylor, Carolyn Fugate and Nancy Robinson Vaughn.
