SYLVIA MASON

Sylvia Agnes Mason ,age 90, a resident of Middlesboro, Kentucky, passed away on September 14, 2025 at her home while surrounded by her loving family.

She was born in Pineville, Kentucky on May 8, 1935 to the late Uyles and Sara Alice Mason.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Cathy Wilder and her husband William, siblings Bethel Hill, Ruth Elizabeth Layne, Juanita Mason, Tommy Mason, Charles Mason, Lee Edward Mason,  and John T. Mason, and grandson Jason Murphy.

Sylvia was a loving Mother Grandmother and Great-Grandmother. When she wasn’t spending time with her family, she loved to read and enjoyed crafting. She also loved flowers and saw beauty in each one.

Left to cherish her memory, children James Rouse, Debra Murphy, Sylvia (Mark) Lambert and Dan Rouse, sister Daphene Mason, grandchildren Jennifer (Tony), Jessica (Josh), Brittany, Mark and George, great-grandchildren Lexi, Sophia and Isaac, as well as other relatives and friends who will miss her so dearly.

A private family Graveside Service will be held at Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, Kentucky.
