TAMASA ANNE COX

Tamasa Anne Cox, age 56, passed away August 2, 2025 at her home in Middlesboro, Kentucky.

She was born in Middlesboro, Kentucky on October 18, 1968 to the late Lois Clarkson.

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband Dan Cox.

Tamasa was a very caring mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.  Spending time with her family was what she most cherished in her life.  She loved caring for her plants and flowers and puttering around in her little garden.  She cared for those around her with a loving heart and a tender hand; her absence will be felt by many.

Left to mourn her passing, her son John L. Cox (Chevvi Cox), her daughter, Jackie Clarkson (Nathan Wiley), grandchildren Alyssa Gray, Kimberly Cox, Jesse Cox, Joe Cox, Hannah Evans, Sydney Cox, Hunter Ayers, Brandy Ayers, Tiffany Ayers, Taylor Ayers,  her partner in life, Wayne Smith, stepson Danny Cox and his wife Anita, her precious great-grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.

The family of Tamasa Anne Cox will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 4:00 p.m. at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel.

Pallbearers will be Danny Cox, Erik C. Fossum, Jesse Cox, Joe Cox, and Michael Talley.
