Teresa (Terri) Lynne Greer Lemarr (Little Bit) of Powell Valley, Tennessee, born February 23, 1965 departed this life to join God on June 1st, 2026 at 3:58pm. She was saved and baptized at an early age at First Baptist Church of New Tazewell. Terri was little but never realized it, she was always told she was loud, but didn't believe that. She loved to smile and make people happy. She loved her family with all her heart. Yes, Laura, even you!! Had to get that last jab in... he! He! She so enjoyed working in the newspaper business, working for 3 different newspapers during her life and even publishing a book.
She wanted to say that she loves you all family and friends so much, so don't ya'll be crying over me for will be with Jesus Christ in the blink of an eye and He loves us all. Make sure you all know Him so we can see each other again. Love me, bye.
She was preceded in death by Louise Snow Nanny & Glen Dadaw Lester, Ruby Mamaw & Kenneth Papaw Hurst, her father, William Richard Greer, aunts; Wanda Johnson and Sharron Mcguire, uncle Dennis Hurst: cousins; Bradley Greer, B.J. Long, Jennifer Hurst Snodgrass, and Kent Mcguire.
Survivors include: Father of her sons, Brian Lemarr of Speedwell, Tn: sons Michael Allen Lemarr (Christina) of Cave Springs, Tn, William Cody Greer Lemarr (Austyn) of Speedwell, Tn. Mother, Lucy Hurst Moyers of Speedwell, Tn, special step-dad that Terri swore her daddy send him to the family, James Allen, of Speedwell, Tn. Best Sister in the world, Kathy Asher of Speedwell, Tn, whom she wanted to say to her, Sissy it will all be alright. Aunt Joyce (jo jo) Hurst Young of Tazewell, Tn. Best nieces ever; Stephanie (Scott) Wright, of Speedwell, Tn and Whitney (Davin) Miller of Little Sycamore, Tn. Grandson, who gave her the will to not want to give up on life so early, Lukas Ray Scott Lemarr. 4 special granddaughters, Laney May Lynn Lemarr & Belle, Grace and Rose Moyers. Precious great niece's Zoey Snow Wright and Ellieana Miller. Close friends, Doodle, Teresa, Tressa, Mary Mary, Rookie and Becky. Special friend Corey Lawson. A host of relatives and to many friends to name, you know who you are and I will be watching so be good!!!
Receiving of friends will be from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, June 5, 2026 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 7:00 p.m. Friday, June 5, 2026 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Michael Bradley and Mr. Corey Lawson officiating. Music will be provided by Corey Lawson.
Family and friends will meet at Green Hills Funeral Home on Saturday, June 6, 2026 at 10:00 a.m. for a processional to Cave Springs Cemetery in Tazewell, Tennessee.
Pallbearers will be Jon Sweat, Chris Anders, big Chad Tinnel, Johnathan Ausmus, Tyler Lawson, Charles Necessary, Jason Hopson.
Honorary pall bearers are Barry Ridenour, Eddie Ray Hurst, Bob Johnson, Jackie Hurst, Ronnie Hurst, Jason Hurst, Josh Hurst and John Hurst.
