THELMA MOORE

Thelma Ruth Moore, age 73, of Middlesboro, Kentucky, passed away Saturday, April 6th, 2024 at the North Knoxville Medical Center. She was born July 9, 1950 to the late Lawrence and Dorothy Hunley. In addition to her parents, Thelma is preceded in death by her daughter, Kristi Moore, brother Lawrence Curtis Hunley and niece Jennifer Lee.

She is survived by her son Bobby (Karen) Moore of Middlesboro, KY., grandchildren Eden Brown, Ava Howerton, Isaac Evan Howerton, Taylor Moore, all of Middlesboro, KY., and Chelsae (Brett) Cox of Chesapeake, VA., sisters Barbara Smith, Bonnie (Bill) Smith and Donna (John) Senters, brothers Kenneth Hunley, Jimmy (Elaine) Hunley and Gary (Robin) Hunley, special aunt Mary Allen. She is also survived by 4 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, cousins and many special friends.

Thelma retired as a nurse from ARH where she worked for many years caring for others. She always gave to others with a cheerful heart and enjoyed spending her time with her family and friends.

The family of Thelma Moore will receive friends from 12 noon until 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 13, 2024 at Green Hills Funeral Home.

Memorial Services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel.

Graveside Services to immediately follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, KY.
