THOMAS LEE UPTON

Thomas Lee Upton, born September 30, 1938, left this earthly home for his heavenly home on March 21, 2026.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife of over 60 years, Linda Magdalene Partin Upton, his parents, George Wesley Upton and Mary Alice Upton, brothers, Rufus Upton, Charles Upton, Don Upton, and William “Bimbo” Upton, sisters, Ruby Upton, Nancy Upton, and Mary Ethel Upton.

Left to cherish his memory, is his “son” in his eyes and heart, Larry Wayne Partin (Ethel), brothers, JC Upton, Ralph Upton, sisters, Thelma Huddleston, and Ruth Upton, along with many others that loved him.

The family of Thomas Upton will receive friends Wednesday, March 25, 2026, from 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. at Green Hills Funeral Home.

The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 25, 2026, in the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Randy Wilson presiding. 

Graveside services will follow in the Harrogate Cemetery in Harrogate, Tennessee.

Pallbearers will be George Norvell, Jacob Partin, Larry Partin, Charles Upton, and Harvey Wight.
