Virginia Harris Baker, age 77, of Middlesboro, KY passed away on May 4, 2021 at Middlesboro A.R.H.
She was born on August 3, 1943 in Bell County, KY to the late Fred and Virgie Jones Harris.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her son, Terry Baker, sisters Joann Harris, Geraldine Harris Roark and Rose Marie Harris Waldrop.
Virginia was a wonderful mother, grandmother, sister, and friend to all. She was sweet, understanding and kind; she never judged but rather loved. Virginia raised her two sons as well as many other children as her own. Her loving nature and big heart will be remembered by all who were blessed to have known her.
Left to cherish her memory, loving husband Raymond Baker, sons Eddie (Rita) Baker and Mark (Lori) Baker, grandchildren Josh Baker, Daniel Baker, John Dylon Hunley and Mackenzie Brock, great-grandchild Jace Baker, brother Bob (Edie) Harris, brother-in-law Dennis Waldrop, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends who will miss her dearly.
The family of Virginia Baker will receive friends from 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 8, 2021 at Green Hills Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 8, 2021 at the Green Hills Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Murphy Buell presiding. Music will be provided by the Hensley’s Chapel Choir.
Interment will immediately follow at the Green Hills Memorial Gardens, Middlesboro, KY.
