WANDA ROARK

Mrs. Wanda Lou (Miracle) Roark passed away peacefully on July 29, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family. While our hearts are broken by her passing, we find comfort knowing she has been joyfully reunited with those who went before her and is now resting in the presence of her Savior.

Wanda was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Bryant Roark; her cherished granddaughter, Adrienna Dye; her parents, Victor and Ethel Miracle; her brothers, Harold Dean Miracle and Paul Wayne Miracle; and her sister, Mary Sue Barton; her nieces Darla Jean Yankee, Renee Barton, and Kimberly Miracle; and lastly, her nephews Kevin Miracle and Geoffrey Dean Miracle. She leaves behind a family who will forever treasure the love, wisdom, and kindness she poured into each of them.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Lisa Johnson and Teresa Dye; her grandchildren, Spencer Dye and his wife, Amber, and Chelsea Luke and her husband, John; her great-grandchildren, Serenity Dye, Chad Dye, Illyanna Dye, and Lilyan Dye. She is also survived by her brothers, Ray Miracle and his wife, Juanita; Jimmy Miracle and his wife, Diane; and Dexter Miracle, and his wife Gracie Miracle (deceased). Her sister in law, Cindy Miracle widow of Harold Dean Miracle. Her nephews Paul Wayne Miracle Jr., Shaun Miracle, Mathew Miracle, Harold Dean Miracle Jr., Ken Miracle, Tim Miracle, Anthony Miracle, Greg Miracle and Anthony Miracle . Her neices, Sheila Miracle, Mary Miracle, Megan Miracle, & Melissa Peter. Along with her family, she leaves behind countless cousins, dear friends, and all those whose lives were made brighter simply by knowing her.

To many, she wasn't just Wanda—she was Nana or Aunt Wanda. She had a remarkable gift for making everyone feel welcomed, loved, and cared for. Whether through a warm smile, a listening ear, or a comforting embrace, she made people feel like family. Her lap was truly one size fits all. She was a faithful Sunday School teacher for 50 years who dedicated herself to sharing God's love with others, and her unwavering faith guided the way she lived every day. She was truly the light of our lives, and Heaven is undoubtedly a little brighter now that she is there. Our family would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the church family of First Blackmont Baptist Church. Wanda loved her church deeply, and it was more than a place of worship—it was her home. Thank you for the prayers, love, friendships, and unwavering support that meant so much to her throughout her life.

We also wish to express our sincere appreciation to Bluegrass Care Navigators for the compassionate care, dignity, and comfort they provided during Wanda's final days. Your kindness brought peace not only to her but to our entire family, and we are forever grateful.

Funeral services are being held 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 3, 2026 at First Blackmont Baptist Church and will be officiated by Pastor David Howard. Wanda's grandson, Spencer Dye, will share words in her honor and perform a special song celebrating her life.

Visitation will be held 12:00 noon to 2:00 p.m. Monday, August 3, 2026 at First Blackmont Baptist Church.  Members of the Eastern Star 89th chapter will conduct an Eastern Star service at 1:30 pm.

Interment will be at the Tacket Hill Cemetery in Hulen, Kentucky immediately following the funeral service.

Though our hearts ache in her absence, we rejoice in knowing that her faith has become sight. The love she gave, the lessons she taught, and the countless lives she touched will continue to live on through each of us. Until we meet again, we'll carry your laughter in our hearts, your kindness in our actions, and your faith in our souls. Your chair may now sit empty, but the love you filled our lives with never will.
